INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

Francesco Hair Salon Lilliput is delighted to be celebrating International Women's day by supporting The Big Swim on the morning of Saturday 8th March. The sea swim event takes place on Sandbanks Beach (in front of the sauna) and is hosted by local adventure company, Land & Wave.

"We're so excited to celebrate International Women's Day by jumping in the sea with hundreds of women," says Land & Wave Director, Rosie.

"Land & Wave has been a long-term campaigner for making the Great Outdoors a more accessible place for women to work and play. This female community event is a great way for us to celebrate female equality on the beach."

Women are invited to join 'The Big Swim' to dip a toe, take a quick plunge or swim for as long as feels comfortable.

Land & Wave is providing Beach Lifeguards and First Aiders for the event.

The Big Swim looks set to be the biggest female swim event of its kind, taking place at Sandbanks and Brighton at the same time.

Every participant of The Big Swim in Sandbanks will be entered into a mega prize draw, which includes £100 Gift Voucher courtesy of Francesco Hair Salon.

The Big Swim is a free event, but you must register your place here.
