Carolyn
Carolyn has been Salon Director at the Ferndown salon since 1997, bringing passion, creativity and dedication to every aspect of salon life. She is committed to ensuring every guest enjoys a truly exceptional experience while leading and inspiring a talented team of hairdressers. Specialising in precision cutting and beautiful occasion hair, Carolyn's love for the industry is as strong today as ever.

Salon Manager
Louise
Louise joined the salon in 1996 and has won 11 awards throughout her hairdressing career. She loves hairdressing and
has built an extremely large and loyal clientele over the years.
She particularly specialises in colour and textured curly hair services. Louise is dog mad and loves going on long walks with her dog, Lazer, as well as enjoying a glass of Pimm's at the weekends.
Senior Stylist
Zoe
Zoe has over 20 years of hairdressing experience and is also our in-salon educator and training assessor. She enjoys working with long hair and, for her, the best part of the job is making her guests smile and feel good about themselves.
Outside the salon, Zoe loves paddle boarding, spending time in the great outdoors and travelling.
Senior Stylist / Colour Expert
Shannon
Shannon joined the team in 2015 and has since become a valued Senior Stylist and Master Colour Expert. Passionate about every aspect of hairdressing, she especially loves creating stunning colour transformations and is renowned for her seamless balayage techniques and expert colour changes.
Outside the salon, Shannon enjoys spending quality time with her family and taking long walks along the beach, recharging and finding inspiration in the fresh sea air.
Creative Director
Jo
Jo has been with the Ferndown team for over 20 years and has experience in all aspects of hairdressing, particularly specialising in precision cutting. She really enjoys working with short hair and loves meeting new clients and building lasting relationships with them.
Away from the salon, Jo enjoys spending time with her family, reading, relaxing outdoors and enjoying a glass of wine with friends.
Senior Stylist
Danielle
Danielle joined the team in October 2024 as our Senior Stylist, bringing over 15 years of hairdressing and salon experience with her. Passionate about all aspects of hair, Danielle loves creating beautiful colours, fresh cuts and glamorous transformations that leave her clients feeling confident and refreshed. Her warm personality and attention to detail help make every appointment a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Alongside hairdressing, Danielle is also our in-house aesthetic practitioner and nail technician, offering treatments including fillers, anti-wrinkle treatments and luxury nail services. Family-orientated and passionate about all thing's beauty and glamour, Danielle loves helping clients look and feel their very best.
Assistant
Pauline
Pauline is our resident friendly assistant, always smiling and making the clients feel warm and comfortable. Pauline was a hairdresser for many years before retiring from the industry and joining the team in 2022. She keeps the salon in tip top shape and is always a friendly face for our guests to chat to.
Pauline loves spending time with her grandchildren and has a real passion for gardening, bringing the same care and attention into the salon that she does to everything she loves.
Stylist
Honey
Honey is a Stylist here at Francesco Hair Ferndown. She began her hairdressing journey in 2021 and achieved distinctions in both her Level 2 and Level 3 Hairdressing qualifications. Honey loves creating beautiful blonde transformations, with highlights being her favourite service to do. Her passion for hair, fashion and all things girly shines through in both her work and personality.
Outside of the salon, Honey enjoys spending time with her family and going on holiday.
Stylist
Ruby
Ruby joined the Ferndown team in 2022 as an apprentice and achieved a Distinction in her Level 3 Hairdressing qualification in July 2025. Passionate about every aspect of hairdressing, she has a natural creative flair and particularly enjoys colour services. Ruby also has a real talent for creating beautiful occasion hair, helping clients look and feel their best for special events.
Outside the salon, you'll often find her at live music events, one of her favourite ways to spend her free time.
New Talent
Esme
Esme joined in 2024 and has since brought a passion for all things hair, creativity, and self-expression to the team. Whether it's a soft glamorous blow-dry or a fresh new colour, she loves bringing her clients' dream hair to life with a personalised touch. Her love for art and creativity shines through in her work and enhance her skills as a hairdresser.
Outside of the salon, Esme enjoys painting, crocheting and going on hikes, drawing inspiration from her creative hobbies and the outdoors.
Apprentice
Carys
Carys joined the Ferndown team October 2025 as our Level 2 Apprentice. She has a passion for all things hairdressing and loves styling long hair, especially being part of big transformations in the salon. Carys enjoys learning new skills and developing her creativity every day.
Outside of work she loves cheerleading, spending time with her cats and creating memories with her loved ones.
Front of House
Karis
Joining the team in August 2025, Karis has been part of the salon family for over 20 years as a loyal client. With a love for nature, animals and spending time with her family, she brings a warm and welcoming energy to the salon.
Her passion for creating a friendly, relaxing experience helps every client feel right at home from the moment they walk through the door.
