We are thrilled to announce that Connor Preston, Francesco Hair Spotlight Artist 2023/24 from Francesco Hair Birmingham Academy, has made it to the finals of the Trend Vision Xposure at the prestigious Trend Vision Awards 2024!
This remarkable achievement marks a proud moment for both Francesco Hair Birmingham Academy and FG Apprenticeships, showcasing the excellence and dedication of our apprentices.
What is Trend Vision Xposure?
The Trend Vision Awards, organised by Wella Professionals, are a renowned competition in the hairdressing industry that celebrates creativity and innovation. The Trend Vision Xposure is a unique platform within these awards designed to recognise and nurture emerging talent in hairdressing. It provides Apprentices like Connor with an unparalleled opportunity to showcase their skills on a national stage, gain valuable experience, and receive recognition from industry leaders.

Spotlight: A Journey to Creativity
Connor Preston’s journey to the finals of Trend Vision Xposure has been further enhanced by his participation in Francesco Hair Salons’ innovative mentoring programme, Spotlight. This is Francesco Hair Salons’ first-ever creative programme for hairdressers who crave that little bit more. Spotlight offers inspiring demos, exclusive sneak peeks at new, creative courses, and days packed full of inspiration and knowledge seeking.
Masterminded by FG Creative Heather Shaw, Spotlight promises to propel its participants into the world of creative hair. It provides them with priceless opportunities that ensure the team is set up for success in whatever endeavours they choose to pursue. Through Spotlight, Connor has been pushing himself personally, gaining the confidence and skills that have helped him reach new heights in his hairdressing career.
