This October, Francesco Hair Salons proudly united in support of Breast Cancer Now’s Wear It Pink campaign, raising vital funds and awareness to help fight breast cancer. 

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our clients and staff, we’re thrilled to announce that we raised an amazing £2345!

Wear It Pink day on Friday, 18th October, was a huge success across our salons. Clients and staff came together, sporting shades of pink and donating generously to this meaningful cause. 

A highlight of our fundraising efforts was the Dye It Pink campaign. Using stunning shades from the Wella Color Fresh Masks in Pink, Peach Blush, and Rose Blaze, our talented stylists transformed clients’ hair, adding fabulous touches of pink that symbolises strength, hope, and unity.

What is Wear It Pink?

Wear It Pink is one of the UK’s largest fundraising events, organised by Breast Cancer Now. Each October, people across the country wear pink to support those affected by breast cancer, raising millions of pounds to fund research and provide essential care. This year’s Wear It Pink day on 18th October brought communities together to honour loved ones, raise awareness, and contribute to life-saving research.

Every penny raised through Wear It Pink and our salon events goes directly to Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s leading charity dedicated to breast cancer research and support. Your donations are making a real impact by:

• Funding crucial research into treatments, prevention, and earlier detection methods.

• Providing care and support for those affected by breast cancer, offering expert advice and emotional assistance.

• Raising awareness of breast cancer symptoms and promoting the importance of early detection, which can save lives.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, with 1 in 7 women affected during their lifetime. Over 55,000 women and 370 men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year. Early detection is key to improving survival rates, and raising awareness through campaigns like Wear It Pink is essential to helping more people recognise the signs and seek treatment early.
