What an incredible night it was at the Francesco Hair Salon Business Awards 2024!

From the video introduction to the heartfelt tributes and the celebration of true talent, the evening was full of excitement, joy, and well-deserved recognition!

The hosts for the night, Anya and Mia Dellicompagni, kicked things off with a warm welcome. With a new look and vibrant energy within the salons, they made it clear that the night was all about celebrating the incredible Francesco family and its values of customer service, family, and heritage – 56 years strong!

LONG SERVICE AWARDS

The evening began by honouring some very special individuals who have dedicated years of their careers to Francesco Hair Salons. An astonishing 1,320 years of combined service was celebrated, and the room was filled with applause as team members who had reached significant milestones over the past five years were recognised.

10 Years

39 team members celebrated a decade with Francesco Hair Salon.

15 Years

27 team members celebrated 15 years with Francesco Hair Salon.

30 Years

The 9 dedicated individuals who have achieved 30 years service.

35 Years

Back in the late 80’s, 5 individuals joined the Group, and are now celebrating an incredible thirty-five years service!

40 Years

The true showstoppers were those celebrating 40 years with the company! Congratulations to Jacky Corbett, Hanley and Kerry O’Sullivan, Church Lane, who hit the unbelievable milestone of four decades.

The PAM ARMSTRONG Award

WINNER

⭐ Rebecca Darmanin of Nantwich

Next came the heartfelt Pam Armstrong Award, in memory of a much-loved member of the Francesco family. This award honours those who go above and beyond in supporting their team, and this year, the award went to the fantastic Rebecca Darmanin of Nantwich. Judged by an esteemed panel from Wella, the nominees all shone, but Rebecca’s dedication, skills and business results truly set her apart.

And now, the awards we’d all been waiting for – the Business Awards, showcasing the immense talent, hard work, and dedication of the Francesco teams.

Apprentice of the Year

WINNER

⭐ Bryanna Hudson – Knowle & Walsall

In the Hair Professional Apprentice category, Bryanna Hudson of Knowle & now Walsall took the top spot.

ADVANCED & CREATIVE HAIR PROFESSIONAL
Apprentice of the Year

WINNER

⭐ Alex Warrilow of Newcastle

The Advanced & Creative Hair Professional award went to Alex Warrilow of Newcastle. The judges praised their dedication, passion, and skill, making them stars to watch in the future.

SALON TRAINER of the Year

WINNER

⭐ MacKenzie Newlands of Bridle Road

A massive congratulations to MacKenzie Newlands of Bridle Road, who was recognised for her tailored and effective approach to training apprentices, helping them to grow into confident and capable stylists.

NEWCOMER of the Year

⭐ Natalie Robinson of Northwich

The rising star award went to Natalie Robinson of Northwich, who wowed everyone with her hard work and impressive results since graduating from Vardering.

RETAILER of the Year

⭐ Francesco Hair Salon Christchurch

In a fiercely competitive category, Christchurch took the top prize, showcasing their ability to provide top-notch client care and product recommendations.

The Front of House Team of the Year Award went to the amazing Leek Salon.

COLOURIST of the Year

WINNER

⭐ Galina Johnson of Streetly

The Colourist of the Year award went to the fabulous Galina Johnson of Streetly, recognised for her exceptional performance in client retention and colour sales.

STYLIST of the Year

⭐ Natalie Hewitt of Northwich

The awards kept rolling in with Natalie Hewitt of Northwich being named Stylist of the Year in what was a very close competition, with just 4 points separating the top two!

SALON DIRECTOR of the Year

⭐ Vicky Taylor of Cheltenham

The highly anticipated Salon Director of the Year was awarded to the brilliant Vicky Taylor of Cheltenham, also a finalist in the British Hairdressing Business Awards this year, who achieved outstanding hair takings over the past year.

SALON of the Year

WINNER

⭐ Francesco Hair Salon Eccleshall

The night ended with the announcement everyone was waiting for – Salon of the Year. It was a close race, but with 107 points, Eccleshall took home the prestigious title. A huge congratulations to the entire team at Eccleshall, and Salon Director Lola Skelton, for their outstanding performance and dedication over the year!

As the awards wrapped up, the party was just getting started! With music from DJ Mark Segrove, artisan pizzas from Baked in Brick, and fun at the 360 photo booth, the celebration continued into the night. Live band House Jammerz then took the stage, belting out classic club anthems that kept everyone dancing!

Finally, we want to give a massive thank you to all the suppliers who helped make the night so special. From The Factory Works to LemonZest Events and So Visual. And obviously not forgetting the Francesco Hair Salon Marketing department and PA to Anya Dellicompagni Kate Fox (pictured below) for bringing the entire event together.
